The cookies we use, plainly.
A short list of what we set, why we set it, and how to switch off the parts that aren’t strictly required.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They allow the site to remember things about your visit — for example, that you are signed in, or that you prefer dark mode — across pages and across sessions.
We also use closely related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as “cookies.”
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These cookies are required to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in, balance load across servers, and prevent fraud. The Service will not work without them, so they cannot be turned off.
Preferences. These cookies remember choices you make, such as your language, theme, or sidebar layout. Disabling them means we cannot remember your preferences between visits.
Analytics. These cookies help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it — which pages people visit, how long they spend, what breaks. We use a privacy‑respecting analytics provider and do not allow it to build a cross‑site profile of you.
Marketing. We use a small number of cookies to measure how well our advertising performs (for example, whether someone who clicked a link from a search engine eventually signed up). We do not use cookies to retarget you across the open web.

| _om_attribution | Marketing | Attributes sign‑ups to a referring source. | 30 days |
Third‑party cookies
Some pages embed third‑party content — for example, video tutorials, support widgets, or payment forms — that may set their own cookies. We work only with vendors whose privacy practices we have reviewed.
Common third parties you may encounter on our site include Stripe (payments), Plausible (analytics), and Cloudflare (security and performance).
Your choices
You can manage non‑essential cookies at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page on ottermind.net.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working correctly.
Where required by law (such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we ask for your consent before setting analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not set them until you opt in. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt‑out where applicable.
Do Not Track
Because there is no industry consensus on how Do Not Track browser signals should be interpreted, we do not currently respond to them. We do, however, honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change to how we use cookies, we will tell you in‑app or by email.
